Leadership Motion + Your Existing Coaching Platform

What coaching platforms do well

The major coaching platforms have built something the leadership development industry has not had before: democratized access to professional coaching at scale. The work is real. The outcomes are real.

What coaching platforms do not do

A coaching platform gives a leader access to a coach. It does not give the organization a measurement of leadership capacity. It does not project where each leader's trajectory is heading. It does not give the C-suite an aggregate view of leadership readiness.

Coaching platforms generally measure two things: utilization (did people use it) and self-reported outcomes (do leaders feel they grew). Both are useful. Neither tells you whether your leadership population is actually getting more capable, by what measure, or in which dimensions.

Continuity that survives coach changes

When a leader changes coaches, or when coaches roll off, the NQ profile and trajectory stay in place. The development context does not start over.

How the integration works

Leadership Motion is designed to coexist with major coaching platforms. We do not replace them.

Data integration

NQ Assessment results, profile data, and trajectory projections exported to your coaching platform via SCIM provisioning and API integrations.

Workflow integration

Coaching session themes flow back into the NQ system. The AI coaching layer uses the same NQ profile, providing continuity between human coaching sessions.

Reporting integration

Aggregate dashboards combine coaching utilization data from your existing platform with NQ capacity data from Leadership Motion. The C-suite gets a unified view.

How to think about the spend

For most enterprises with an existing coaching platform investment, Leadership Motion is roughly 30-50% of the existing coaching spend. The combined investment is justified by measurable outcomes, aggregate analytics, and continuity.

For enterprises evaluating whether to add Leadership Motion to an existing coaching investment, the test is simple. Ask your coaching vendor for the aggregate measurement of leadership capacity progression across your population over the last twelve months. If they can produce it, you may not need NQ. If they cannot, you do.
